Sandra Di Giacinto es graduada en escultura por la Accademia di Belle Arti de Roma aunque su oficio es el de joyera, apostando por los materiales reciclados y reciclabes. La inspiración en el arte japonés es evidente por las formas minimalistas (con el predominio de líneas geométricas) y la combinación discreta de las tonalidades.

Sandra Di Giacinto's degree in sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome but his job is a jeweler, relying on recycled and recyclable materials. The inspiration in Japanese art is evident in the minimalist forms (with the predominance of geometric lines) and the combination of discrete tones.

La artista Kathleen Plate diseña joyas sencillas pero vibrantes, mágicas y con un doble sentido: el reciclaje. Con su proyecto Smart Glass Jewelry, la diseñadora nos muestra una manera idónea de aprovechar un material tan hipnótico como el vidrio. Las formas geométricas básicas predominan en todas las creaciones dando así mayor importancia al material.

The artist Kathleen Plate designs simple jewels but vibrant, magical with a double sense: recycling. With her project Smart Glass Jewelry, the designer shows a convenient way to take advantage of a material as hypnotic as glass. The basic geometric forms predominate in all creations giving more importance to the material.
